“You Never Know When” jackpot commercial campaign launched by BetMGM Casino

BetMGM has released a new 30-second television and social media commercial campaign in the hopes of showcasing the unexpected and random thrills progressive jackpots can bring on its online casino offering.
The new BetMGM Casino spot for television and social media captures a spokesperson attempting to explain progressive jackpots but who is continually interrupted by another winning jackpot and ensuing celebrations.
The “You Never Know When” campaign was directed by Terri Timely and produced in partnership with Emmy award-winning agency, Highdive.
“Jackpot wins can happen any time at BetMGM Casino and we love creating memorable jackpot moments,” BetMGM CRO Matt Prevost said.
“Highdive continues to showcase the strengths of our award-wining casino in a fun and entertaining way.”
In 2023, the company stated it awarded $138.2m in progressive jackpot payouts to online casino players, a 32% year-over-year increase. Slot titles created by Entain for BetMGM, available exclusively on BetMGM Casino, were the source of more than half of the prize total according to the operator.
Currently, the progressive jackpot pool at BetMGM online casino platforms in New Jersey is over $5.2m, the largest jackpot in the history of iGaming in North America as stated by the company.
BetMGM also reported its H1 2024 financial figures, highlighting a 6% yearly rise in revenue figures to $1bn but also stating a H1 2024 EBITDA of negative $123m.
Q2 2024 net revenue rose by 9% year-over-year, as well as being 3% higher than revenue figures released for Q1 2024. Additionally, Net Gaming Revenue also saw a yearly rise of 16% during the second quarter.
