Third Planet Affiliates purchases Props.com from FansUnite
The sale is for an undisclosed price.
CasinoReports.com owner and operator Third Planet Affiliates has acquired Props.com, a player props-focused website. The company bought the site from FansUnite Entertainment for an “undisclosed sum.”
Props.com was formed in 2021 as a site that specializes in providing content for sports bettors and fantasy sports players.
Third Planet Co-Founder Cal Spears briefly discussed the plans the company has for the domain.
He said, “Props.com is a category-defining domain name with significant search traction. It’s a perfect fit for covering both traditional US sports betting and the burgeoning DFS+ space led by Underdog and PrizePicks.
“Our young company is excited to build Props.com into a daily resource for both bettors and fantasy players.”
Spear and Co-Founder Adam Small founded Third Planet earlier this year. Small said the young company’s goal is to “provide top-quality casino, lottery, and player props news and tools to the US-facing consumer and industry insiders, without putting anything behind a paywall.”
In related news, Pollard Banknote Limited has agreed to purchase 100% of the business of bingo markers manufacturer, Clarence J. Venne, LLC. The two signed a definitive deal and agreed on a price of $12.6m.
Venne has been in business for more than 60 years. Its bingo markers a primarily used in the charitable gaming bingo market. Venne’s products are available in bingo markets throughout North America and in 23 countries worldwide.
