IGT premieres Whitney Houston Slots game for US players
Houston’s music is incorporated into the gaming experience.
Interactive Game Technology (IGT) has announced the debut of its new Whitney Houston themed slots game, which is now available to players in the US market.
The game incorporates imagery and, of course, music, themed around the late-great Whitney Houston. Launched in collaboration with the Estate of Whitney E. Houston and Primary Wave Music, the game integrates a range of music-related features, as well as offering a jackpot prize of up to $500,000.
In recent US related news, IGT extended its agreement with Mississippi lottery at the end of May. The pair have agreed to continue their ongoing partnership for another three years.

Outside of the US, it was a busy May for IGT, which entered into a collaboration with NetBet Casino to extend its portfolio in the Mexican market. An additional deal was also struck up between the company and Atlantic Lottery in Canada, in which the pair will release cloud-based iLottery solutions.
This latest development further diversifies IGT’s customer offerings, as it hopes to continue the positive trajectory evident in its recently released Q1 2024 results, which saw a yearly revenue rise of 1% to $1.07bn. These positive financial results closely followed an executive reshuffle in March, which saw ex-President of iGaming, Gil Rotem, step into the role of President of IGT PlayDigital.
