ICRG selects Travis Sztainert to serve as Director of Research and Education
He will help stakeholders gain access to research and resources.
The International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) has named Dr Travis Sztainert as its new Director of Research and Education.
Part of his responsibilities in the role will be “fostering impactful collaborations that advance the work of the ICRG by connecting stakeholders and translating research, knowledge and resources.”
The ICRG expressed its confidence in Sztainert by saying in a statement, “His dedication to implementing evidence-informed practices ensures that the ICRG’s initiatives are grounded in the latest research and best practices.”
ICRG President Arthur Paikowsky said that Sztainert will be a good fit to the team because of the knowledge and experience he brings to the role.
He elaborated further by saying, “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Travis Sztainert to the ICRG team. His extensive background in responsible gambling research and his commitment to transforming data into actionable knowledge align perfectly with our organization’s mission.
“We look forward to leveraging Travis’s insights to advance our efforts in promoting responsible gambling practices.”
In related news, Boyd Gaming Corporation recently named Michael Hartmeier as its latest Board of Directors member. Hartmeier takes on this role with more than 25 years of experience in the investment banking industry.
He served as the former Group Head of Lodging Gaming and Leisure Investment Banking for Barclays.
In addition to his former duties with Barclay, Hartmeier worked for both Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston as the Group Head for Hospitality and Gaming.
Hartmeier served on other boards prior to this recent appointment. He is a current board member of DiamondRock Hospitality Company’s Board of Directors. He was also on the board for regional casino operator, Full House Resorts.
