Inspired Entertainment signs deal with AGCL
The Canadian regulator has agreed to purchase more than 100 new Valor terminals.
Inspired Entertainment has signed an agreement with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). The group services a gaming regulatory body within the Canadian province of Alberta and oversees casino gambling within the province.
Under the terms of the deal, AGLC will buy 150 Valor terminals. The group recently completed a six-month trial run prior to the purchase agreement.
These are scheduled to be installed by the end of this year’s second quarter.
Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce took a moment to express the company’s excitement to bring AGLC into its customer fold.
He commented, “We are delighted to welcome AGLC as a valued customer. AGLC’s decision to order 150 Valor cabinets underscores the success demonstrated during the trial period as well as the strength of our product portfolio. We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with AGLC.

In other company news, Inspired Entertainment recently partnered with Tunley Environmental to further accelerate its sustainability journey. Tunley is a global sustainability consultancy that has operations in both the UK and in the US.
Under the terms of the agreement, Inspired and Tunley will combine their efforts and conduct “a thorough business carbon assessment.” The duo said that this is the first step toward reducing Inspired’s carbon footprint.
