IGaming provider leads humanitarian aid campaign in Brazil
SOFTSWISS will provide relief to Rio Grande do Sul flood victims.
Global iGaming solutions provider Softswiss has launched a campaign in Brazil that will offer aid to those affected by last month’s severe flood in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Softswiss noted that the initial campaign launch is the first stage of a multi-phase charity project.
In addition to offering relief, Softswiss has invited other iGaming industry companies to join the campaign.
The Rio Grande do Sul experienced a severe flood during April and is still reeling from its effects. Urban areas throughout the area are still submerged, a problem local experts say might not go away any time soon.
Softswiss Founder Ivan Montik took a moment to discuss the group’s desire to offer aid to communities throughout Brazil.
He said, “Recognizing Brazil as a key market, Softswiss has dedicated significant efforts to establish a strong presence here. Our goal is to be a reliable partner to the Brazilian people and help the local industry grow. We now have employees in the region and in light of the country’s recent hardships, standing aside is not an option. We are committed to supporting the people of Brazil during this difficult time.
“We are providing emergency financial assistance, partnering with organizations that can swiftly deliver food, clothing and water to those impacted by the flood. Additionally, we are developing a long-term initiative to install water purification equipment in schools in the affected regions.”
Company Non-Executive Director in Latin America Rubens Barrichello expressed his enthusiasm to participate in the relief effort.
He commented, “I am very glad the Softswiss team I joined is committed to supporting Brazilians in this difficult situation.
“Having launched many charity initiatives with the Barrichello Family Institute, I am grateful that, together with Softswiss, we also have the opportunity to help those who need our support now.”
Others, such as Meridianbet, are also aiding in flood relief.
