IC360 creates Alert360 platform in partnership with RealResponse
The two companies originally came together in May 2023 to create the only national tip line for reporting gambling-related issues.
IC360 has announced its newest platform designed to give athletes, coaches and trainers an anonymous way to report issues related to gambling. Through an ongoing partnership with RealResponse, the company has created Alert360, which includes a channel mix of QR codes, web forms, text messaging and email.
“The implementation of Alert360, powered by RealResponse, is another example of how we help our partners to stay one step ahead. An anonymous tip can help limit and prevent acts or threats of physical and emotional harm or intimidation while thwarting attempts to undermine the integrity of sports competitions,” IC360 CEO Matthew Holt said.
With Alert360, organizations can manage the portal independently. Options for managing include outsourcing portal management to IC360’s professionals or select and task administrators within an organization to create a joint portal management process with IC360.
“It’s critical to offer new and innovative ways for people to share concerns without the fear of reprisal. The rise of legalized sports betting has led to both expected and unexpected challenges,” RealResponse Founder and CEO David Chadwick said.
“We simply cannot take chances when it comes to integrity, protecting our athletes and ensuring competition remains free from manipulation or outside influence.”
The companies have partnered in the past as well, launching a service exclusive to intercollegiate athletics in August of 2023 to help protect student-athletes, as well as colleges and universities, from increased illegal gambling-related activity. The two also launched Athlete Alert, the only national tip line that allows the public to anonymously report gambling-related issues in May of the same year.
