EGT was founded and licensed by the Bulgarian Gaming Board in 2002 with the intent of producing gaming equipment. Four years later, it expanded outside of Europe to the Latin American market, an area in which it retains a strong position; in 2022, it announced its collaboration with Colombian iGaming operator Rivalo.co.
It was 2009 when EGT was certified by Gaming Labs and two years after it unveiled software that combined land-based and remote gambling through an iPad interface. In 2016, it used this proprietary platform to launch its online presence EGT Interactive, entering Romania in the same year, as well as appearing at the iGaming show in Amsterdam.
In 2018, EGT launched 40 Lucky King, one of its most popular games, an RTP that offers five reels, 40 paylines and a randomly triggered jackpot bonus. 40 Lucky King, along with a string of other successful games led to it being declared as a top 10 casino tech solution in CIO Applications Europe magazine in 2019.
It was in the 2020s that EGT truly found its feet within the industry and began to expand operations, opening business operations in Italy. In 2021, it rebranded to Amusnet Interactive and launched a new live casino platform.
In 2022, it continues to promote its brand worldwide, attending the London ICE conference as an exhibitor in April. This fall, it has a large stall set out to showcase its products and services at G2E 2022.
