History and Renovations

Construction on the Tulalip Casino began in July 2001 and cost approximately $78m. It opened to the public on June 5, 2003 and was originally named Tulalip Casino. It replaced an earlier casino that was opened in July 1992.

In 2004, the casino underwent a $2m renovation to remodel the interior of the casino and was renamed Quil Ceda Creek Casino.

The casino would undergo another renovation in 2008, which would open to the public on August 11th. This would add a 12-story hotel with 370 rooms to the property as well as a 14,000sq ft spa. This renovation would also see the casino renamed to the Tulalip Resort Casino.

A third renovation was completed in 2015 for $15m.

On November 21, 2023, Tulalip Resort Casino announced a major renovation project to the property. This would include a 70,250-square-foot expansion, several new interior and exterior features and upgrades. This is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
