The gaming floor also has 200 table games, including craps, Casino War, blackjack, baccarat, poker and pai gow. Similar to slots, there’s also a dedicated area for High Limits Table Games.

Live poker is also available in the Poker Room, which has 40 tables offering Limit and No-Limit Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo and 7-card stud.

History and Renovations

The original Seminole bingo hall opened in 1979, which is now known as Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood. This venue now has over 900 slot machines, table games and poker tables. The Seminole Classic Casino is still active less than half a mile away from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

The aforementioned Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood was opened on May 1, 2004, following the high-profile acquisition from the Seminole Tribe. The project cost $279m and included an opening concert performed by Huey Lewis & The News.

The iconic 450ft high guitar-shaped landmark was added in 2019 as part of a $1.3bn renovation. The shape was that of a Gibson electronic guitar model, paying homage to the signature Hard Rock symbol. This expansion added 638 hotel rooms alongside the new 168-room Oasis Tower.

Tribal Information

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. In 1957, the Seminole Tribe gained official recognition from the US Government, with a constitution forged between them.

The Seminole people were among the first to settle in Florida, with the tribe already long established by the time the Spanish arrived. Their tribal history extends back for many thousands of years. They originally existed as many hundreds of separate tribes connected through the Maskókî language.

The Seminole Tribe entered the international stage when it acquired the Hard Rock International brand from The Rank Group in March 2007. The deal was signed for $965m, one of the largest purchases from any Tribe at the time.

Miami Marlins: On April 25, 2023, the Major League Baseball team partnered with Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood as part of a multi-year deal that would see the operator present the Marlins post-game Heritage Celebration Concert Series.
