4ThePlayer granted full Michigan License
The London-based supplier is live in two states and looking to take advantage of the US online casino market further.
After eight months, 4ThePlayer.com has announced it is fully licensed in Michigan’s online casino market. The supplier obtained a provisional license in Michigan during October 2022 and was live in its first US market of New Jersey in August that year.
Chris Ash, Co-Founder and Business Development Director of 4ThePlayer, said, “We are overjoyed to announce this latest achievement in our US market strategy. Michigan’s online casino market presents an exciting landscape for us to share our games with a passionate audience.
“We are also actively working on expanding our presence into additional states, underscoring our commitment to regulated markets in general.”
Under the provisional license, 4ThePlayer had already introduced games such as 9K Yeti and 3 Secret Cities to Michigan’s iGaming market. Games are available to players in the Great Lake State via the company’s US platform partner, Gaming Realms.
4ThePlayer also aims to release additional games, including both current titles and first releases, designed specifically for the US market. One title slated for release this year is 6 Wild Sharks.
Based in London, 4thePlayer has noted the positive growth of Michigan’s iGaming market, made up of 15 online casinos. For the first five months of 2023, these online casinos have generated revenues of around $150m.
In April, the state brought in $159.4m in iGaming revenue, and an all-time record of $171.8m was set in March.
