RCI Hospitality extends its Colorado reach with Denver food hall acquisition
The company will offer dining aficionados a variety of custom dishes and specialty beers.
RCI Hospitality Holding has announced plans to expand in the greater Denver, Colorado area, through the acquisition of a brewery, full-service bar, food hall and videogame arcade in Greenwood Village. The company paid a total of $5.2m, which included $1.88m in cash.
Additional financing consists of a five-year note at 6.67% interest and a 25-year amortization.
The Greenwood Village location is the latest in a series of RCI developments. The company also operates clubs in Louisiana and Illinois. RCI Holdings current runs more than 60 locations throughout the country, including restaurants, adult clubs and sports bars.
The Greenwood Village food hall will feature sushi, charcuterie, Italian artisanal sandwiches, Korean dumplings, Mexican dishes, ramen, pizza, and Mediterranean dishes within the restaurant’s 12,500 square-foot space.
RCI said it plans to add a mini Bombshells kitchen to the property and offer local foodies its signature wings and salads, as well as in-house specialty beers.
In other Colorado news, RCI Hospitality Holdings recently released details of its completed deal to acquire a building in Central City, Colorado’s downtown gaming district. The company purchased the location for $2.4m.
The building is comprised of 30,000 square feet and will be the future site of Rick’s Cabaret Steakhouse & Casino.
Once open, guests at Rick’s Cabaret Steakhouse & Casino will have access to casino and sports betting, as well as fine dining options and other entertainment.
RCI has applied for a gaming license with the state that will allow the company of install 175 slot machines, a craps table, six blackjack tables and one roulette table at the Central City destination. The city is one of three Colorado cities that allows legalized gambling.
