DraftKings and Meadowlark partner to release four additional shows
The content released will feature different sports coverage and new female voices.
In coordination with Meadowlark, the media company that provides audio and video content to DraftKings, the two brands will release four additional shows. These shows cover several sports and feature additional female personalities.
The new lineup features Too Many Men, which consists of hockey analysts Alison Lukan, Shayna Goldman, and Sara Civian; The Cooligans, with comedians Alexis Guerreros and Christian Polanco; a college football show, Shutdown Fullcast, hosted by Spencer Hall, Holly Anderson, Jason Kirk, and Ryan Nann; and DNF (Did Not Finish), an F1 program with Meadowlark’s Jessica Smetana and Spencer Hall.
The two companies have already launched several sports-forward shows together, including Basketball Illuminati, Underdogs, Point Forward, Fútbol with Grant Wahl, and Montgomery and Co. The two have also launched other programming such as Cinephobe, Cinephile, and Off the Looking Glass.
Bimal Kapadia, the COO of Meadowlark, said: “With DraftKings, we continue to develop a dynamic talent network with the most diverse voices across sports and beyond, voices that reflect the changing demographics. When you combine that with new formats, it’s very exciting.”
DraftKings has recently worked on expanding its media with multiple partnerships. The company has partnered with content creators, independent voices and more to create a destination for the “in on the action” culture.
Along with its partnership with Meadowlark, DraftKings has launched new shows with Mike Golic Jr., Jared Carrabis, Mike Golic Sr., Meadowlark’s Jessica Smetana, and Michael Lombardi.
In December of 2020, the company entered an agreement with Ross Tucker Media for daily and weekly NFL content.
