Golden Nugget owner Fertitta furloughs 40,000 employees

Tilman Fertitta, owner of the Golden Nugget casinos, has furloughed 40,000 employees throughout his hospitality and restaurant empire according to Bloomberg News.
Fertitta’s five Golden Nugget casinos are all closed.
Fertitta owns hundreds of restaurants including the Bubba Gump Shrimp chain, which has a location on the Las Vegas Strip.
The 40,000 furloughs amount to 70% of employees who work under Fertitta’s umbrella.
Fertitta told Bloomberg he wants to hire back every furloughed employee.
