The Sports Geek launches weekly sports betting podcast Geek’d Up Bets

The Sports Geek has launched Geek’d Up Bets, a weekly sports betting podcast hosted by former college football players Joe DeLeone and Sean Anderson.
New episodes are released every Thursday at 6:00 PM ET and focus on betting analysis across major North American professional and college sports.
The podcast is designed to provide listeners with structured breakdowns of weekly matchups, covering both high-profile games and less obvious betting opportunities.
According to The Sports Geek, the show centers on practical analysis of bets the hosts are backing, wagers they are avoiding, and trends that could influence outcomes during the week ahead.
Coverage spans the NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, MLB, and NHL, alongside discussion of developing storylines and sports entertainment news.
Each episode is organized around recurring segments that highlight individual bets, themed parlays, and broader betting angles tied to the weekly slate.
DeLeone and Anderson both bring media experience to the project alongside their playing backgrounds. DeLeone currently works as a sports media analyst and content creator for The Sports Geek and produces coverage focused on the NFL Draft, the NFL, and college football.
His work has appeared on platforms including A to Z Sports, Bleacher Report, Infinity Sports Network, VSIN, and SiriusXM. He also co-hosts The Ruffino and Joe Show and previously played as a long snapper at the University of Rhode Island.
Anderson is a sports media creator covering the NFL and both FBS and FCS college football. His work appears on OutKick, Yahoo Sports, and SiriusXM, and he also co-hosts the podcast Hack City.
Like DeLeone, Anderson played college football at the University of Rhode Island, where he was an offensive lineman.
New episodes of Geek’d Up Bets are available on Spotify and YouTube, with The Sports Geek positioning the show as a weekly preparation tool for bettors seeking structured analysis ahead of upcoming games.
The launch follows a broader trend of sports betting media expansion. In August 2025, Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSIN) introduced Fade Us Sports, a weekly podcast featuring poker professionals Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow, Brandon Cantu, and David Woodley, aimed at blending betting strategy with conversational analysis across NFL matchups and other sports.
