High Roller names Jake Francis as new COO

High Roller Technologies has appointed Jake Francis as COO, effective immediately. Francis replaces Emily Micallef, who transitions to an advisory role with the company.
Francis brings nearly two decades of experience spanning technical, regulatory and operational roles across the gaming sector.
Before joining High Roller, he served as Senior VP of Operations at BlueBet, Senior Director of Operations at Penn Entertainment, and Director of Internet Gaming Compliance at Hard Rock. Earlier in his career, he worked in risk management at NYX Gaming Group and began as an Auditor for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in 2007.
Seth Young, CEO at High Roller, said: “On behalf of the entire High Roller organization, it is my privilege to thank Emily for her leadership and dedication during her tenure as COO and Chief of Staff. We wish Emily great success in her future endeavors.”
Young added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jake to the team. Jake brings nearly two decades of technical, regulatory, and operational experience to our leadership team. I have no doubt that Jake’s experience, passion, and work ethic will have an immediate and highly positive impact on our organization.”
Francis holds an MBA in Business Strategy from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lehigh University and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jake Francis, COO at High Roller Technologies, said: “I’m honored to join High Roller at such an impactful time in the company’s journey. The company has a strong foundation that I’m excited to continue building upon, and I look forward to doing my part to ensure that we are delivering both world-class experiences for our players and sustainable value for our shareholders.”
High Roller Technologies operates online casino brands High Roller, Fruta and Kassuuu. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ROLR and offers over 6,000 games from more than 90 providers to a global customer base.
The appointment comes as High Roller Technologies continues expanding its operations across multiple jurisdictions. Francis’s regulatory background, including his time with Pennsylvania gaming authorities, positions him to navigate compliance requirements as the company pursues growth in regulated markets.
