AGS debuts Mariachi Fortunes Trio in New Mexico
The slot supplier partnered with Sandia Resort & Casino to mark the title’s first entry into New Mexico, having also hosted a celebration at the property to commemorate the launch.
American Gaming Systems (AGS) has formed a new partnership with Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico to unveil its Mariachi Fortunes Trio slot game portfolio to the market for the first time.
“Mariachi Fortunes Trio has seen tremendous success since its debut in July and continues to build momentum across the country,” AGS SVP and GM of Slots Mark DeDeaux said.
“These games – along with their immersive theme, rich features and stellar bonus options – being first to market in New Mexico is a celebration of the fan-favorite brand and our special partnership with Sandia.”
The slot supplier and Sandia Resort & Casino hosted a celebration to commemorate the launch, inspired by the game’s Fiesta de los Vivos and Fiesta de las Calacas content themes. Over 300 VIP guests were invited to attend the celebration, as a free-play event resulted in more than 20 hand-pays totaling close to $75,000.
AGS soft launched Mariachi Fortunes Trio on October 15, with the game exclusively available to Sandia Resort & Casino guests for a limited time prior to expanding to fellow New Mexico casinos.
Representatives from AGS, Sandia Resort & Casino executives and property employees held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the game’s New Mexico debut.
In July, AGS celebrated the first-ever dual-property world premiere for its Mariachi Fortunes Trio slot game at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel in southern California and Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The premiere “transformed” both casino floors into Mexico-style plazas with themed slot banks, folklorico dancers, live mariachi bands and decorated street carts, while Club Serrano members were among the first to play the game and received giveaways as part of the event.
