Gaming America welcomes diverse perspectives and encourages thoughtful discussion about gaming, esports, and regulated betting industries. However, all interactions must be conducted with respect for others and in accordance with the following guidelines.
Respectful and Civil Discourse
All users are expected to engage in respectful communication, even during disagreements or debates. We encourage vigorous discussion of ideas while maintaining civility toward other community members.
Prohibited behaviors include:
- Personal attacks, insults, or harassment directed at other users, journalists, or industry figures
- Hate speech or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Threatening behavior, doxxing, or sharing private information without consent
- Impersonation of other users, Gaming America staff, or industry professionals
Integrity and Authenticity
Users must not create multiple accounts to manipulate discussions, misrepresent their identity or affiliations, or post false information with intent to deceive.
No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion
Gaming America platforms are designed for legitimate discussion, not commercial solicitation. Prohibited activities include unsolicited advertising, repetitive posting, automated bot activity, and using our platforms primarily to drive traffic to external sites.
Relevant and Constructive Contributions
Comments should remain relevant to the content being discussed and add value to the conversation. Avoid off-topic discussions, trolling, deliberately inflammatory statements, or low-effort contributions that do not advance discussion.
Prohibition of Illegal or Harmful Content
Gaming America strictly prohibits content that violates laws or promotes harmful activities, including:
- Promotion of unlicensed or illegal gambling operations
- Instructions for circumventing age verification or geo-restrictions
- Pirated content, malware, or copyright infringement
- Content promoting violence, self-harm, fraud, or other illegal activities
- Material violating gambling advertising regulations
Responsible Gaming Standards
Users must not encourage problem gambling, promote gambling to minors, share strategies falsely represented as guarantees, or harass individuals discussing problem gambling concerns.
Protection of Minors
Users must not attempt to engage minors in discussions about gambling, and should report any suspected underage users attempting to access gambling-related services.
Intellectual Property Respect
Users must respect intellectual property rights, provide appropriate attribution when sharing others’ work, and not reproduce substantial portions of Gaming America content without permission.
Enforcement and Consequences
Gaming America enforces this Code of Conduct through measures including warning notices, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, content removal, and reporting illegal activity to authorities when necessary.
