Scientific Games awarded 10-year lottery contract in Pennsylvania

Company has gained a 10-year base contract to provide lottery gaming systems services across the state’s network of lottery retailers.
Announced today, Scientific Games has been awarded a 10-year long contract from the Pennsylvania Lottery to provide its full instant games services and SG Enhanced Partnership to the state’s lottery providers.
A second contract will see the supplier provide the state’s 10,000 lottery retailers with its suite of lottery games services.
Drew Svitko, executive director of the Pennsylvania Lottery, said: “After careful evaluation of several proposals, Scientific Games was chosen to help us modernize our business, so that we will be able to have a continuing impact on the programs that Pennsylvania seniors rely on every day. Things like free meals, transportation, care services, tax relief, and prescription assistance are needed now more than ever. Our partnership will only strengthen Lottery’s mission and we look forward to the future.”
According to a statement, some key reasons Scientific Games received this contract are its proposed Pennsylvania Lottery Scratch-Off games product, its supply chain logistics, retailer equipment solutions, enterprise applications, analytics services, and sales performance tools.

“Scientific Games’ investment in retail and digital games, technology and services in collaboration the Pennsylvania Lottery has helped shape the player experience for the lottery industry,” added McHugh.
Scientific Games has already supplied the Pennsylvania Lottery for 50 years and its current contract, which runs until the end of the year, has seen the state’s iLottery platform earn $1bn in sales since 2019.
