Boston Red Sox name DraftKings as Exclusive DFS Partner
The Boston Red Sox have named hometown company DraftKings as its official Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) provider.
DraftKings has partnerships with three of Boston’s top professional sports teams, having previously signed deals with the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins.
The Red Sox will display DraftKings signage throughout Fenway Park in addition to current signage above the Green Monster left field wall. The deal gives DraftKings premier signage on field level behind home plate and LED branding along the first and third baseline for one inning at each regular season home game.
The partnership is a natural fit for DraftKings, which was established in Boston in 2012.
“We are thrilled to team up with a historic franchise like the Red Sox and bring DraftKings closer to this passionate fanbase, which is even more special given our hometown Boston roots,” said Ezra Kucharz, chief business officer of DraftKings. “As a Boston-born company, we are well-acquainted with the devotion of Boston sports fans, and we believe the engagement possibilities of this integration are only just beginning.”
The DFS partnership includes DraftKings promotions in Red Sox Foundation emails and social media posts, and raffles as well as on the Red Sox Foundation website.

We look forward to deepening our partnership in the years ahead.”
The DFS deal comes as Massachusetts lawmakers approach closer to legalizing sports betting in the Bay State.
The Massachusetts state House overwhelmingly voted in sports of a sports betting bill last week. The bill faces greater resistance in the Senate, where a vote on the bill is not necessarily imminent.
