Wynn, Encore to operate at 100% capacity effective immediately

Wynn Resorts announced Monday that its two Las Vegas Strip properties, Wynn and Encore, will return to 100% operations effectively immediately.
The company said it received permission from the Nevada Gaming Control board to operate at full capacity after reporting an employee vaccination rate of 88%.
“Our employees and guests will continue to follow health and safety guidelines, including mask compliance, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all,” Wynn said in a statement.
Wynn will remove plexiglass dividers from all table games and slot machines.
Wynn becomes the first Las Vegas operator to return to full capacity since the Covid-19 pandemic originally shut down casinos last March.

Wynn’s return to full operations comes three days after Clark County and Strip casinos were allowed to increase capacity to 80% in accordance with local rules.
