MGM Resorts appoints Ayesha Molino as new COO, Gary Fritz to CCO and MGM Digital President

Fritz’s appointment will go into immediate effect, while Molino will begin her new role on January 1, 2026, replacing current MGM Resorts COO Corey Sanders.

MGM Resorts International has appointed current President of Interactive Gary Fritz to the additional roles of CCO and MGM Digital President, while also naming Ayesha Molino as the company’s new COO following Corey Sanders’ scheduled retirement on December 31, 2025.
“Ayesha is an exceptionally gifted strategic thinker and operator who excels at managing through complexity, earning her the respect of her colleagues and peers throughout the company,” MGM Resorts President and CEO Bill Hornbuckle said.
“In fact, under Ayesha’s leadership, Aria has posted all-time records in EBITDAR, annual revenue, hotel and casino revenue, ADR and Gold+ NPS scores, to name just a few. Ayesha’s ability to unite teams, drive results and navigate challenges makes her the perfect leader to succeed Corey as COO. I am confident she will continue to help shape our future growth and success.”
Sanders and MGM Resorts officially announced his plans to retire on September 5, while Molino’s appointment will go into effect on January 1, 2026. She currently serves as President and COO of Aria and Vdara, responsible for operations such as government affairs, public relations and corporate communication.
Fritz’s appointment will go into immediate effect, however, as the MGM Resorts executive is currently accountable for evaluating and leading all global strategic digital gaming initiatives.
Good to know: MGM Resorts extended its founding partnership with the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix through 2030 on September 16, as the third rendition of the race is scheduled to run from November 20-22
“Gary has been instrumental in establishing and advancing our digital strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships and organic expansion of our BetMGM brand into new international markets like Brazil,” Hornbuckle said.

Prior to his retirement, Sanders will continue to oversee the company’s Las Vegas and regional properties as well as multiple corporate departments, including hospitality, gaming, human resources and strategic initiatives.
