Canada: Loto-Québec reports CAD$766.5m in Q1 revenue

Loto-Québec recorded a strong first quarter for the 25-26 financial year. From April 1 to June 30 2025, revenues totalled CAD$766.5m, an increase of CAD$76.8m, or 11.1%, compared to the same period last year. Net income reached CAD$384.4m, up 9.9%.
Lottery revenue stood at CAD$236.3m, up 7.8%. Casino and gaming hall revenues rose to CAD$323.4m, up 17.6% while gaming establishments generated CAD$212.2m, up 5.7%.
Since the beginning of the financial year, Loto-Québec has created 42 millionaires in Québec. The total amount awarded to lottery winners is nearly CAD$430m. The largest prize of the quarter was CAD$20m, shared by a group of 15 colleagues in Mauricie in the June 3 Lotto Max draw.
At Casino du Lac-Leamy, a progressive poker jackpot of CAD$2.5m was won on April 16, setting a new record. In May, a visitor to the region won CAD$2.2m on a slot machine.
During the quarter, new gaming options were introduced, including table games in gaming lounges, an inter-establishment progressive jackpot in poker and an optional bet in blackjack.
