International Game Technology (IGT)’s Wheel of Fortune Big Money Spin electronic table game (ETG) has made its global premiere with an unveiling at the Downtown Grand Casino in Las Vegas.
“Downtown Grand was delighted to have the world premiere of IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Big Money Spin ETG solution on our gaming floor,” Downtown Grand Las Vegas Director of Casino Operations Paul Phillips said.
“Our guests instantly connected with the Wheel of Fortune brand and are eager to try their favorite slots brand in a new format. The stature and appeal of (the) game’s accompanying ‘Big Wheel’ is inspiring a wide range of players to give the new game a try.”
The IGT title allows players to select a color-coded wager amount which corresponds with the colored wedges on the table game’s digital Wheel of Fortune-branded wheel. The Fortune Spin Bonus and Jackpot Bonus will activate the game’s physical wheel, delivering a “visible and recognizable” win celebration on the gaming floor.
Featuring similar technology to previous Wheel of Fortune-branded games, the title also includes a nine-plus-foot upright video wheel which “stands independent” of fellow ETG terminals and will play the well-known chant from the television program.
