The Casino Queen Marquette will undergo a new rebranding and officially become Bally’s Marquette in early 2026 as part of a $21m transformation of the property, featuring a relocation of its gaming floor and new dining, gaming and entertainment experiences.
“We’re proud to honor Casino Queen Marquette’s deep-rooted connection to the community while ushering in an exciting new era as Bally’s Marquette,” Casino Queen Marquette GM Robin Corbeil said.
“This transformation brings the entertainment experience our guests love onto land – making it more accessible, more comfortable and more dynamic than ever before. With new dining, expanded gaming and a modern layout, Bally’s Marquette will continue to be a destination locals are proud of and visitors are excited to explore.”
The rebrand reportedly follows Bally’s acquisition of Standard General L.P., as well as its affiliates including The Queen Casino & Entertainment, completed in February 2025.
The Casino Queen Marquette has stood as a Mississippi riverboat casino for over 30 years, but will now operate landside under the Bally’s ownership change.
Good to know: Evolution formed a new partnership agreement with Bally’s on July 3, helping to not only officially establish the supplier’s presence in Rhode Island, but also expand the operator’s content library throughout the state
“The City of Marquette is proud to support Casino Queen Marquette, soon to be Bally’s Marquette, and its transition to landside gaming,” Marquette Mayor Brittany Hemmer said.
“This move will introduce an exciting new gaming experience and updated dining options. We look forward to our continued partnership with Bally’s Marquette.”
The landside move will offer the Bally’s property new dining concepts, including partnerships with local food and beverage vendors, as well as an elevated gaming experience for casino players.
