Intralot has announced a new 10-year partnership extension with the Idaho Lottery for the continued provision of gaming technology equipment, among other things, which will take effect in September of 2027.
Also specified as part of the pair’s new partnership agreement is Intralot’s obligation to allow the Idaho Lottery access to its CMS, as well as ensuring a blanket upgrade to all existing vending machines currently under operation by the lottery and improved security measures for managing tickets.
Speaking on the update, Andrew Arulanandam, Director of the Idaho Lottery, stated, “The operational gaming system is the heart of any Lottery. After thorough research, we found that Intralot has the best product.
“This extension allows us to improve our technology and provide quality services to our players while protecting the security and integrity of our games here in Idaho. This extension will provide increased dividends to public education and state building funds and it is in the best interest of Idaho’s citizenry and our state.”
Building on this, Intralot CEO, Richard Bateson, said, “We are honored to extend our partnership with the Idaho Lottery for another decade. This agreement underscores our shared commitment to innovation, security, and responsible gaming. With the introduction of LotosX OmniTM and Dream Touch Flex vending machines further improving player experience, we are confident that the Idaho Lottery will continue to grow and generate greater returns for Idaho’s schools and buildings.”
Good to know: Earlier in Q2, Intralot also entered into a long-term partnership extension agreement with the New Hampshire Lottery, set to run until 2033
Elsewhere, in December, the Idaho Lottery officially joined a group of additional lottery and community organizations in 2024’s Gift Responsibly campaign – which sought to raise awareness around underage lottery usage.
An additional lottery-related development this week saw IGT also sign an eight-year technology deal with Atlantic Lottery.
