Tolima collects COP 90.8bn for health from luck and chance games

The Tolima Lottery and Extra of Colombia recently held a special drawing in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
To date, the lottery has collected COP 90.8bn ($0.022bn) for health from games of luck and chance.
Coljuegos President Marco Emilio Hincapié took a moment to share his thoughts on the recent milestone.
He commented, “Today we are celebrating a century of tradition, awards and resources for the health of those who live in this Department.
“The Tolima Lottery is not only one of the oldest in the country, but year after year it has been increasing its sales and transfers.”

The governor of Tolima, Adriana Magaly Matiz affirmed Tolima’s commitment to all lotteries in the area.
She said, “We want to recognize all lotteries. From the Governor’s Office, we will work to guarantee a more dignified future for all of them. For this reason, we will deliver a lifetime subsidy for each one.
“Modernity must come to our Tolima Lottery, and the role of Coljuegos has been fundamental in that path. We want to be on par with the great lotteries in the country.”
Coljuegos serves Colombia as its regulatory body for games and luck and chance.
