Plaza Hotel & Casino to once again host Welcome to the Weekend fireworks in Las Vegas
The property will provide Friday night fireworks shows beginning on May 2 and running through the conclusion of the summer on September 26.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino will once again be putting on its Welcome to the Weekend fireworks show in downtown Las Vegas, set to be part of a “festive summer block party atmosphere” at the property’s rooftop pool deck and Carousel Bar.
“We had amazing feedback from guests about our Friday fireworks shows last summer so we decided to extend it to run a total of 22 weeks this year,” Plaza Hotel & Casino CEO Jonathan Jossel said.
“Summertime weather in Las Vegas starts earlier and lasts longer so why shouldn’t our fireworks?”
Starting on May 2 and running through September 26, Welcome to the Weekend is inspired by the fireworks shows presented at Disneyland and will take place every Friday night, followed by a DJ-led party at the Carousel Bar which runs until 11pm.

Speaking on the cross-promotion from properties also located in the downtown Las Vegas area and tourist attractions such as the Fremont Street Experience and First Friday, Jossel stated “we are creating an unforgettable summertime party in downtown Las Vegas, and we thank our downtown neighbors for their support.”
