BetMGM signs Hockey Hall of Fame member Chris Chelios as brand ambassador

BetMGM has signed former Detroit Red Wings legend and Hockey Hall of Fame member Chris Chelios to a celebrity brand ambassador partnership.

By adding Chelios to its list of ambassadors, the sports betting and online gaming platform is growing its presence in Michigan ahead of the state’s online sports wagering launch. 

“BetMGM is at the forefront of an exciting time for the sports betting industry,” said Chelios. “I’m proud to be associated with the BetMGM brand and the long-standing commitment to Michigan through MGM Grand Detroit.”

Chelios participate in fan engagements, marketing campaigns and other public appearances on behalf of BetMGM. He’ll also promote BetMGM during his regular guest appearances on Detroit’s WXYT 97.1 FM The Ticket and interact with BetMGM and MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards customers. 

Chelios is one of the most well known athletes in the state of Michigan, having led the Red Wings to a pair of Stanley Cup championships. Chelios also won a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadians.
