Golden Matrix Group subsidiary Meridianbet has officially obtained an online betting license in Brazil, establishing Meridianbet as an authorized operator throughout the country.
Meridianbet will now have access to operate across both online and in-person betting channels, reinforcing Golden Matrix’s commitment to targeting high-growth markets.

The Brazilian sports betting and iGaming industry saw rapid expansion during 2024 and is expected to generate $5.6bn in gross gaming revenue (GGR) by 2025 according to the announcement.
Golden Matrix’s B2C operations, through Meridianbet, provide sports betting and gaming services across 18 regulated jurisdictions globally. The company finalized the acquisition of MeridianBet in a deal worth $300m on April 9, 2024, also reaching a debt conversion agreement with Founder Aleksandar Milovanović on September 11.
