Venetian Resort offers employee incentives through its appreciation award

Full-time flex team staff can receive a $1,250 pre-taxed distribution.

The Venetian Resort has decided to distribute a $1,250 pre-taxed award to all full-time flex team members as part of its Venetian Appreciation Award.

The program recognizes staff that “deliver exceptional guest experiences.”

In addition to incentives for full-time workers, those who are employed part-time and on-call are eligible to receive an award prorate that is based on the hours they have worked during the past year.

The resort commented in a recent social media post, “The Venetian Resort is pleased to share the success of the resort’s performance in 2024 with all its Team Members through the Venetian Appreciation Award, a unique employee recognition program that continues to demonstrate The Venetian Resort’s commitment to its Team Members and overall organizational success.

“Designed to inspire Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, this distribution marks a milestone achievement, bringing the cumulative payout of this one-of-a-kind program to $3,500 per full-time flex Team Member since the program’s inception in 2022.”

Prior to the Venetian’s construction, architects and artists traveled to Venice, Italy to seek inspiration for the Renaissance-style destination. Construction wrapped up on the resort in 1999.

The Venetian Resort recently released details on plans to update its convention center for an estimated cost of $188m. The company said the renovation of its meeting space will be “completed in stages between 2024 to 2026.”

The concept is based on celebrating the resort’s past while “reinventing the future.” The Venetian has shared a rendering of the project on its social media and said it is confident that the renovated space will surpass its guests’ expectations.
