Missouri casinos post $153.6m in November revenue

The Missouri Gaming Commission has published its casino revenue results for the month of November.

The state’s casinos brought in a collective total of close to $153.6m in adjusted gross revenue (AGR) during the month. Results reflected an increase of 4% or nearly $6m in revenue when compared to totals posted in November 2023.  

In addition to a year-over-year revenue boost, the state reported a rise in revenue month-over-month as well. Casino revenue rose by almost $2m when compared to October’s results.

Ameristar St. Charles took the win as the largest earner in November. The casino posted a total revenue of almost $23.1m.

River City outperformed Hollywood and reported a November revenue of almost $20.9m. Revenue for Hollywood reached almost $19.4m.

The state has posted a year-to-date AGR of nearly $773.6m. However, this year’s running total is down by 1% when compared to last year’s AGR total.

Last month, Missouri voters pulled the lever in favor of a legal sports betting market during the election.

This brings the state one step closer to opening a commercial market and would make Missouri the 39th state to welcome legal sports wagering.

However, voters said no to Amendment 5, which would have allowed a new casino in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

To date, 38 states along with the District of Columbia allow some form of legal sports betting.
