Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage celebrates grand re-opening of poker room

The poker room is the only one to be located in the Coachella Valley and hosts nine tables with 81 seats.

Agua Caliente Casinos is celebrating the grand re-opening of its poker room, located inside the Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage and having been under renovation for the past five months. The property will hold a grand opening event on November 22 and 23, including promotions and special giveaways being held throughout. 

The poker room was first opened in March of 2001 and is the only poker room to be located within the Coachella Valley. It will be holding daily tournaments beginning at 10am local time with additional times for Tuesday and Thursday. 

Featuring nine tables with 81 seats, the poker room is also run by a team with several staff members celebrating 10-20 years on the job. Promotions during the grand opening event will include a hot shot giveaway where, for a short period, two people playing poker will be randomly drawn every half hour to win $100 each. 

Good to know: Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs began permitting smoking again in October of 2023 after more than three years of being smoke-free

Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage will also be offering a splash the pot giveaway that includes $50 being added for every live cash game. 

Agua Caliente Casinos are located in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and Cathedral City, California. During the grand opening ceremony, the poker room will be decorated for the entire two-day period to celebrate its return to operation. 

New hours of operation will also be provided for attendees, along with any guest that has played in the poker in the last calendar year getting to receive an Agua Caliente Casino mug plus a shirt or hat.
