Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola kicks off 30th anniversary celebration
Guests can enter a drawing to win a new car every Saturday through the end of August.
Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola has started its 30-year anniversary celebration with a series of special deals for players and guests.
The resort got its start in 1994 as an electronic bingo hall. Since its debut, the resort has grown to offer guests access to multiple restaurants and bars, a hotel, a large gaming floor and more than 7,000 square feet of meeting space.
Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola highlighted its charitable contributions during its 30-year history by saying, “At the forefront of the Pocola resort is its dedication to the people and communities it serves. Over the years, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola has donated to the Salvation Army, the Special Olympics, Mercy Health, the Arkansas College of Health & Education and numerous other local charities and groups.
“To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the casino will continue its spirit of giving with month-long deals as a thank you to its loyal guests.”
The resort will give away a new car every Saturday in August at 1am local time. Guests have a chance to take home a Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Crown, Ford Wildtrak, Genesis G80 and a Mercedes Benz.
“There will also be $1,000 cash drawings every hour from 2pm to midnight on Saturdays,” the resort said. “Guests can earn entries now through September 1 at Pocola, Pocola Too, Heavener, Poteau and Stigler.”
Part of commemorating the anniversary will also include live performances by Morris Day & The Time and Conner Smith later this month at CenterStage. The band will take the stage August 24 at 8pm. Fans can get tickets starting at $50.
Conner Smith will perform the following week at 8pm on August 30. Tickets for the show will start at $20.
