Underdog Fantasy teams up with the United Football League
The company will represent the league as an official fantasy sports partner.
The United Football League (UFL) has signed a deal with paid fantasy sports company Underdog Fantasy.
Under the terms of the deal, Underdog will represent the UFL as its fantasy sports partner beginning with the UFL Championship on June 16.
‘This partnership with the UFL demonstrates Underdog’s continued commitment to investing in emerging brands and organizations in the sports and entertainment landscape,’ the league said in a statement.
Per the agreement, Underdog will be the league’s official fantasy sports sponsor, along with its presenting partner for UFL’s point after-touchdown plays.
UFL President and CEO Russ Brandon expressed the company’s excitement to team up with Underdog.
He commented, “We are thrilled to name Underdog Fantasy as our exclusive sports fantasy partner. This collaboration is a fantastic match of two brands on an exciting trajectory that will grow together.
“We share a passion for innovation and delivering an exceptional experience to our fans and will bring that spirit together and look forward to bringing an exciting new dimension to the fantasy sports world.”
Underdog will also serve as a presenting partner for the ‘Touchdown of the Week’ campaign, which will kick off at the start of the UFL season. Fans can check out a video compilation of touchdowns scored during the week.
Underdog Founder and Co-CEO Jeremy Levine elaborated on the similarities between the two companies and their mutual desire to bring sports fans quality entertainment.
