International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that its PlayDigital iGaming platform is now live in Rhode Island via the Bally Casino app.
Currently operating as an iGaming platform across a variety of channels and regulated segments, IGT’s PlayDigital platform has now gone live in its seventh state via the Bally Casino Rhode Island app. This partnership marks PlayDigital’s official entry into all regulated iGaming state markets currently in the US – offering iBetting options that include lotteries, gaming machines and sports betting mechanisms.
IGT is now one of two suppliers currently operating in all seven iGaming-regulated states. Online betting within the state of Rhode Island was launched at the beginning of March through Bally’s online casino, which provides users with access to a range of slots and table games via desktop or iOS mobile devices.
Speaking on this latest partnership with IGT, Craig Eaton, Bally’s Rhode Island Operations President, said, “Bally Casino is pleased to make IGT PlayDigital’s legendary game portfolio available to our players from the first day of online gaming in Rhode Island. We’ve created a top-tier player experience at Bally Casino that gives players the convenient opportunity to experience many of their favorite IGT slots such as Cleopatra, Cats and Wolf Run at any time and from any location within Rhode Island.”
IGT recently announced its Q4 figures for 2023, which reported a 3% revenue rise year-on-year to $1.1bn - hoping this latest partnership with Bally’s will keep the company on its upward trajectory.
On the partnership, Gil Rotem, IGT President of iGaming, said, “IGT PlayDigital is thrilled to extend the reach of our market-leading games and promotional tools portfolio to players in Rhode Island via our strategic partnership with Bally’s Corportation. As a long-time lottery and gaming supplier in Rhode Island, IGT is deeply committed to propelling the success of iGaming in the state.”
