Glazer aims to utilize 20 years of investment banking experience to implement a sustainable financial strategy.

Mohegan has appointed Glazer with a view to reaching sustainable financial growth soon after the launch of its Mohegan Inspire complex in South Korea.

Glazer will inherit responsibilities such as managing financial planning & analysis, capital markets, tax, treasury, account management, procurement and cash management as part of his new role.

Speaking on his appointment, which will be effective as of May 1 2024, Glazer said, “I am honored to join Mohegan and to contribute to the company’s dynamic and innovative trajectory. I look forward to leveraging my experience to enhance our financial performance, optimize our capital structure and support Mohegan’s ambitious vision as its new Chief Financial Officer.”

After spending 20 years at investment bank Citigroup, most recently acting as Managing Director and Global Head of Gaming and Hospitality client coverage – Glazer arrives at Mohengan with the full support of CEO and President Ray Pineault, who said, “Ari (Glazer) embodies the visionary leadership and deep financial insight that Mohegan is looking for at this stage of our growth. His skills will be key to our strategy of diversifying Mohegan’s portfolio and strengthening our fiscal foundation.”

As previously touched upon, Mohegan launched its Inspire gaming and entertainment resort in Yeongjong Island near Seoul to a five-star hotel rating from the Korea Tourism Association (KTA).

Mohegan also reported a company-wide net revenue of $444.3m for Q4 2023, marking a 7.6% increase from Q4 2022. The Tribe will hope Glazer’s appointment as CFO will help maintain this upward trajectory.
