The new agreement will open the door for Caesars Digital to release league-themed games online.

Caesars Entertainment has renewed its US partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL). The duo signed a contract for a multiyear extension.

Under the terms of the amended agreement, Caesars will continue to represent the NHL as a sports betting and gaming partner. The company’s online brand, Caesars Digital, will now have access to the NHL’s intellectual property.

Caesars Digital will be able to feature the NHL brand on platforms, as well as create NHL-themed titles for its online casino.

Caesars Rewards members can also benefit from the amended contract. The duo aims to provide members with access to VIP experiences through the partnership.

Caesars Digital President Eric Hession commented, “With the defending Stanley Cup Champions residing in our home city of Las Vegas, we have a front-row seat to the excitement and passion that the NHL provides.

“This partnership extension with the League continues our efforts to build on that fan passion by bringing unforgettable experiences to all of our valued customers across both sports betting and online casino.”

NHL VP, Business Development Jason Jazayeri said that the partnership will continue to focus on offering quality entertainment to gaming and sports fans.

He said in closing, “Since the inception of our partnership with Caesars, together we have focused on innovative ways to engage our passionate fanbase.

“We look forward to the next chapter of our relationship focused on delivering unparalleled access to our sport for NHL fans.”

Caesars Entertainment recently launched its flagship sports betting app, Caesars Sportsbook, in the state of Kentucky. Bluegrass State players can access the sportsbook app on their mobile device through iOS or Android or on their desktop computer by visiting the Caesars website.
