Following recent MINCETUR authoritization for online gaming, Booming Games now expands into Peruvian market.

Supplier Booming Games has received a licence in Peru.

Operating in the online slot market, Booming Games offers a range of themed games that cover multiple segments of the player market. Its portfolio will now extend into the Peruvian market, following the recent approval of iGaming and sports betting regulations by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade back in October 2023.

Securing this position now allows for the distribution of Booming Games productions such as;  Burning Classics, TNT Bonanza, Cash Pig, Buffalo Hold, Win and Classic Fantastic. Games certificates and platforms are in the process of LatAm approval.

Though the authorization for iGaming regulations from MINCETUR came last October, they didn’t come into effect until February 9 2024. This action serves to align Peru with other regulated markets across Latin America, and will serve as a historical benchmark for online gaming in the region.

Frederik Niehusen, Booming Games CCO commented on the development, stating, "Being registered in Peru marks a significant milestone for us at Booming Games. Operating in regulated markets is crucial for us as it ensures a level playing field and fosters trust and transparency among players and operators alike."

Booming Games is not the first organization to take advantage of this emerging market, as soon after the authorization came into effect, certification laboratory Ecogra received the green light to regulate online gaming companies in Peru on February 16th, alongside Asensi.

It is likely that other companies looking to expand into LatAm markets will follow suit.
