The operator will now have additional access to monitoring software tools.

Betfred USA has partnered with US Integrity (USI) to utilize measures that will help prevent coaches, student-athletes and staff from participating in prohibited sports betting. The company said this renewed agreement “is part of a two-fold approach to solidify the sportsbook operator oversight surrounding sports betting and prohibited bettors.”

Betfred USA CEO Kresimir Spajic briefly discussed its continued collaboration with US Integrity by saying, “Through our renewed partnership with US Integrity, strengthened by the integration of ProhiBet technology, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to integrity and compliance by providing a secure and transparent system that aligns seamlessly with the regulatory framework surrounding sports betting.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Betfred will have access to ProhiBet, which offers sportsbook operators and sports properties a secure and transparent monitoring system.

ProhiBet designed its program to function as a comprehensive solution that “monitors compliance with regulatory requirements for prohibited persons via an encrypted decentralized cross-monitoring and notification platform.” The program involves sports properties, regulators and sports wagering operators.

ProhiBet Managing Director Matt Heap said the group is eager to work with Betfred, and to continue building trust and transparency within the sports betting industry.

He commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Betfred – the combination of ProhiBet's state-of-the-art encrypted data transfer system and Betfred’s dedication to upholding the integrity of sports will undoubtedly enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of current and future prohibited bettors.”

USI said it remains focused on “proactively identifying irregular contest-level, officiating & wagering patterns” by examining dozens of data sets.
