Jackpocket has earned a certification from the Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP) for “best practices in player protection.” With this recognition, Jackpocket Casino is one of the first US iGaming operators to receive this certification.
The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) administers the iCAP, which is known as the highest standard in the country for responsible iGaming.
Jackpocket Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan outlined the company’s focus and its commitment to responsible gambling practices.
He commented, "Our mission to provide a fun and responsible online casino experience rests on ensuring the highest levels of safety and security. Every step we take is with the goal of safeguarding our users.
"We are proud of the fact that with Jackpocket Casino, players can confidently participate in their favorite games, knowing that their safety is not only a priority, but also professionally validated by the NCPG."
Jackpocket qualified for the certification by meeting several criteria, including establishing customizable play limits and restrictions on spending, deposit, playtime and logged-in time levels on its app.
The company also tailored its platform to offer self-exclusion and time-out options to players. Users can suspend their activity time for specific durations on the app as well.
NCPG Executive Director Keith Whyte championed Jackpocket Casino as a front runner in fostering responsible gaming features that encourage players to engage in safe play.
He said, "In achieving iCAP accreditation, Jackpocket Casino has emerged as a pioneer in prioritizing player protection and responsible gambling practices within the US iGaming landscape.
"We applaud Jackpocket for emphasizing the safety of their users and for setting an exemplary standard for the industry."
Jackpocket was, of course, recently acquired by DraftKings for $750m.
