The new MMA event is the result of a partnership between Versus and SCCG Management.

MMA league Versus FC recently celebrated its soft launch at the Thunder Fight Center in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was powered by SCCG Management.

The two first partnered last fall to “advance the MMA business model and focus on expanding into the Brazilian market.”

SCCG Management Founder and CEO Stephen Crystal commented on the launch in a recent statement.

He said, “This event marked a significant milestone in my 32-year journey in the gambling and sports entertainment industry.

“The evening was not just about showcasing top-tier MMA action; it was a celebration of our commitment to elevating niche sports like the Pillow Fight Championship (PFC) and revolutionizing fan engagement through Versus FC.”

Crystal went on to note that the soft launch was part of a collective effort involving MMA legend and Versus FC CEO Thomas Higgins, who helped to coordinate the event.

Crystal commented, “His vision and leadership in assembling a team of unmatched professionals from around the world were instrumental in making the night unforgettable. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every match, be it in the MMA cage or the pillow fighting ring.

“I am profoundly grateful to Tom Huggins and his team for their extraordinary work in creating an event that will be remembered for years to come. Their dedication mirrors what we aspire to achieve at SCCG – transforming visions into vibrant, engaging experiences.”

SCCG Management is a consultancy, advisory and investment firm for the casino and iGaming industries. The company specializes in sports betting, iGaming, sports marketing, affiliate marketing, technology governmental and legal affairs and several other sectors.
