Company expects to go live with online casino gaming in Pennsylvania within weeks.

On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers said sports betting and digital gaming company BetMGM will be their first gaming partner.

BetMGM will sponsor the Steelers Kickoff pregame show, as well as present marketing opportunities in team broadcast programming, digital marketing assets and in-stadium promotions and signage.

BetMGM recently received a license to offer online casino and sports betting in Pennsylvania.

The company said it is anticipating going live with casino gaming in the Keystone State within weeks, pending regulatory approval.

BetMGM added its gaming offerings will expand to include sports betting before the year’s end.

The Steelers said BetMGM will have full use of the team’s marks and logos in communications across marketing, product, social media and digital properties. As part of the agreement, BetMGM will also become an official sports betting partner of the Steelers once its online sports betting product launches.

“We are excited to introduce BetMGM to Steelers Nation,” Ryan Huzjak, VP of Steelers sales and corporate partnerships said in a statement. “Not only will BetMGM be elevating some of our existing platforms, they will be introducing new and exciting opportunities to Steelers fans. We are looking forward to kicking off this partnership.”

Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer for BetMGM, said, “Steelers Nation is one of the most passionate fan bases in professional sports and we are thrilled to bring the excitement of BetMGM to Steelers fans. We are eager to launch BetMGM’s gaming offering in Pennsylvania and I cannot think of a better way to kick off our entry into the state than through this partnership.”
