Through the multi-year agreement, customers of Elite’s Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, will be able to bet on Bally’s mobile sportsbook.
Iowa will represent the first state in which Bally’s does not run a physical casino but has created a market presence through its online platform. According to the company, market access agreements are a “good solution” in the absence of a physical presence.
George Papanier, president and CEO of Bally’s commented on the new deal. He said: “"We are delighted to partner with Elite Casino Resorts in Iowa.
“We currently operate sportsbooks in Rhode Island, Colorado, Delaware, Mississippi, and soon will be in Atlantic City.
“Entering the Iowa gaming market with our new, integrated sports betting and iGaming company is very exciting and we look forward to the launch in 2021."
Bally’s recently acquired sportsbook betting platform supplier Bet.Works for $125m, demonstrating its commitment to sports betting and online gambling.
According to a company statement, Bally’s aims to launch sports betting in New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana and Iowa by Q2 next year.
The operator rebranded from Twin River Worldwide Holdings to Bally’s earlier this month.
