Ecogra, which specializes in the testing, inspection and certification of online gambling software and systems, has opened a new office in Colorado, also announcing a new appointment.
The new office located in Denver will serve as a hub for the company’s operations in the US supporting clients with services such as software testing, RNG (Random Number Generator) evaluations, cybersecurity assessments and regulatory compliance reviews.
It was in January of last year that Ecogra was granted both iGaming and sports betting supplier licenses by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), as it continues its US expansion with this latest announcement.
In terms of appointments, Daniel Remmes has taken the role of Director of Compliance, bringing with him over a decade of experience in iGaming regulation and compliance. Remmes’ experience has included working with several prominent gaming operators and regulatory bodies.
Ecogra CEO Shaun McCallaghan said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our operations in the United States and believe that our presence in Colorado will play a pivotal role in our growth.
“Daniel Remmes is an outstanding addition to our team. His extensive experience and knowledge of the US online gambling market will be invaluable as we navigate this exciting chapter.”
Remmes himself added: “I’m thrilled to begin this new role with Ecogra and to seize the opportunity to work with our talented team. Ecogra is recognized as a leading internationally accredited testing agency, with specialization in the certification of online gambling software and systems; specific to the company’s expansion of business in the US market, I look forward to leveraging my decade of iGaming compliance experience to ensure all regulatory matters and customer initiatives are treated with the utmost importance.”
