Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) has entered into a definitive agreement with The Greenbrier Hotel Corporation for market access in West Virginia.

The online gaming company now has access to a fifth state, having already gone live in New Jersey, and in Michigan through its agreement with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community’s Ojibwa Casino.

GNOG is also in the process of applying for operating licenses in Pennsylvania, having last week reached an agreement to enter Illinois through Danville Development.

The latest deal grants GNOG the right to offer mobile sports betting and online casino betting under The Greenbrier’s licenses, subject to certain regulatory approvals.

The agreement also requires GNOG to pay The Greenbrier a percentage of its online net gaming revenue.

“The partnership with The Greenbrier is an important milestone for the Golden Nugget online gaming expansion plans,” said GNOG owner and CEO Tilman Fertitta.

“We look forward to providing West Virginian players with our best-in-class product.”

The only other casino operator active in the state is DraftKings, which launched in July earlier this year under Penn National’s Hollywood Casino.

GNOG becomes The Greenbrier’s third sports betting partner after FanDuel and BetMGM.

“The Greenbrier is excited about this new partnership and adding to the incredible casino offerings already in place for our guests, members and friends throughout West Virginia,” said Dr. Jill Justice, president of The Greenbrier.
