John Rees joins Hard Rock as SVP of Hotel Operations

He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role.

Hard Rock International (HRI) has appointed John Rees to serve as its SVP of Hotel Operations. Rees will be responsible for providing leadership and support for hotel operations throughout the HRI portfolio.

He will oversee operations for both the franchised and corporate-managed locations in his new position.

Rees said he is excited to step into this role. He commented further by saying, "I'm thrilled to join Hard Rock at this pivotal point of the Hard Rock Hotels brand journey. Our future pipeline of hotel projects is very robust, which will allow me to work with my teams to innovate and create more of the special brand touchpoints and guest experiences our fans expect.

“My goal is to make Hard Rock Hotels feel like the coolest place to stay with the best vibe and where every guest around the world is made to feel like a VIP."

Rees joins HRI with nearly three decades of hospitality industry experience. He started his career as an Executive Chef and has served in various Food & Beverage Director roles.

He also has experience in hospitality operations and has held senior leadership positions at Marriott International and Ritz-Carlton.
