DeRaedt has been with the company since it was formed in 1998.

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has announced the departure of its President Peter DeRaedt, effective December 31, 2023.

DeRaedt has been with the company since it was formed in 1998, serving as the first Chairman of the Board of Directors from May 1998 until October 2002, when he resigned his board position to become the President, a position he has held since.

His career began in the gaming industry in 1986 for TCS as Systems Manager/General Manager, running the Systems division for TCS (UK) from Belgium. In 1997, he joined Aristocrat as VP of Technology and in 2001 he became Corporate VP of Product Development and IP for the MIS Group of Monaco.

In recognition of his contributions to the IGSA, the Board of Directors has given DeRaedt the honorary title of “President Emeritus” for life.

Mark Pace, the current IGSA VP, will become Acting President, with the Board due to announce the formal appointment of the next President at the first Board meeting of 2024.

Chairman, Earle G. Hall, said: “Peter DeRaedt's legacy is profound, having steered IGSA through numerous challenges and opportunities. His foresight and leadership have been pivotal in shaping an industry that is dynamic and ever-evolving. He leaves behind a robust and well-respected organization, poised for continued success and innovation.”

In other personnel news today, Mohegan has introduced three new executives to its team as of its 2024 growth objectives, with Joffre Wells, Kelly Leung and Kelly Sullivan taking on roles within the team.
