Resort operators are offering incentives to encourage staff to work across the F1 weekend.

A number of resort operators along the Las Vegas Strip are offering the chance for their staff to win prizes, such as cash or cars, if they work across this coming weekend for the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Caesars Entertainment and the Venetian are examples of resorts taking part in this incentive program. According to the two companies, workers are being offered large cash and comp prizes if they attend all of their scheduled or on-call shifts throughout the duration of the racing weekend.

Caesars’ workers have the potential to win thousands in prizes, including comps for spas and restaurants on Caesars own properties.

Meanwhile, the Venetian’s program is being called the $250,000 “Race to the Finish giveaway," which will include cash prizes valued between $500 to $10,000 and a grand prize of either a Tesla Model 3 or $25,000 cash.

For Venetian workers to be eligible for these prizes, they must work each and every scheduled or on-call shift between Sunday night and Monday night.

A spokesperson for The Venetian said in a statement: “It is incredibly important for us to show our gratitude and appreciation to our Team Members after a year of hard work, commitment, flexibility and patience.

“We want the prizes and experiences for our Team Members to be over-the-top and reflect the same excitement that our guests will enjoy during this iconic week in Las Vegas.

"Our Team Members are the most integral part of showcasing this resort and this destination on the world’s main stage, and we are incredibly proud of their resilience and determination to make this the most incredible event that Las Vegas has ever hosted.”
