
The Indiana Gaming Commission has released its win and tax report for October 2023. State win totaled $187.6m.
Total tax revenue generated by the State during October 2023 was $46.8m. Adjusted gross revenue for the period was $174.7m.
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana generated the highest win of $32.9m, followed by Horseshoe Indianapolis which generated $26.6m.
On the other hand, Rising Star Casino made the least in total win, bringing in $3.3m, and the second smallest earner of the casinos in Indiana during October 2023 was French Lick Resort which brought in $6.7m.
There are 580 table games in the State of Indiana, which brought in a total table win across all of the casinos of $34.8m. The casino with the highest table win was Hard Rock Casino Indiana, which hosts over 76 table games, bringing in $7.9m.
Meanwhile, similar to the above results, Rising Star Casino generated the least in table win, owning the smallest amount of table games (16); and brought in $322,014.
There are a total of 13,827 slot machines in Indiana and overall they generated $153.3m. The casino with the highest slot win was Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, which has 1776 slot machines, and generated $25m.
Again, the casino that generated the least amount of slot revenue was Rising Star Casino, which has 618 slot machines and generated $3m in revenue.
In the sports betting realm, $426.7m was generated in handle and $4.3m of that total was taxed.
Ameristar Casino made the highest sports wagering handle, generating a handle of $172.8m. The casino with the second highest sports wagering handle was Blue Chip Casino, bringing in a handle of $147.1m.
Overall, the sport that generated the highest handle was football, which brought in $153.3m. Meanwhile, the sport that generated the least of the total handle was Baseball, bringing in $27.4m.
